I’m Andrew Leitch.
I'm an XR-focused Experience Design Director with a deep background in film and music, and I draw on all of these disciplines when I craft digital experiences or lead teams who are building them.
Currently, I'm completing an immersive cinema pilot optimized for Apple’s Immersive Video and Spatial Audio formats, and collaborating with the Step Into Vision group on the user interface and video production for their upcoming film/app, Shared Visions.
I'm actively involved in New York's VR and immersive storytelling communities. I was a Fellow at the XR Lab run out of NYU's Media and Games Network (MAGNET) where I developed a VR storyboarding template that has since become an industry standard.
Previously, I was Director of Automotive Experience Design at SiriusXM, leading the UI design team for their automotive entertainment systems, including Apple and Android in-vehicle platforms. I also led research into future-state technologies such as augmented reality (heads-up displays), spatial audio and autonomous vehicles.
Earlier, I held Creative/UX leadership roles at digital agencies such as Razorfish, GREY/G2 and Agency.com, launching foundational digital experiences for blue-chip brands including Nike, Pfizer and Ford.
My web series, Elevator Moods, was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival, a SXSW Interactive finalist, a Webby winner, and was ultimately acquired by A&E TV.
